Will Opera DS still work on the original DS? The TV Tuner appears to work on the original by the looks of the photos.

Holy cow! I thought the DS Lite was simply a good-looking facelift, but with this news the DS Lite looks all the more tantalizing! :approve:

The Opera program will work because it is simply software. It isn't hardware, it's software, which means it will take up the game slot.

I'd much rather use the internet on my computer though. Everything is bigger and better.
And Goatmancer did you get softwear and hardwear mixed up? Hardwear is the physical object while softwear is a program.

This is great news, I will need a new DS soon, as my R button only works half of the time now (snaking is inconvenient.) The new colors also seem nice, the crystal one sounds great to me.

Er, wait! Don't throw your DS out! It works on either DS!

Well, that's amazingly excellent, then. I carry my DS around in my bag usually, so I'll be able to browse t'internet while relaxing in some pub. Nicely, Nintendo!

Can't wait to see somebody make a post here off their DS.

Yeah, while sitting right next to their PC, happened on IGN a whole lot of times with the PSP heh.

In any case, this gives me a reason to hunt out the WEP keys I need to use my DS online, touch screen seems quite a nifty way of browsing too.

I'm getting this too. http://www.m3adapter.com/products.htm There is nothing that the DS Lite has that the DS doesn't have except a lighter screen. These work with the regular DS.

Shweet. By the time this comes out, my router problem should be fixed. Imagine typing on the DS keyboard and navigating!

But if it's only through a wireless router then what would the point be? The only real use would be to go online at a cafe or McDonalds.
