Whilst looking at a Banjo-Kazooie wikipedia page, I stumbled across this:

On November 30th, 2005, EGM rumored that Rareware was working on two titles for Nintendo DS, and that one of the titles is going to take place in the Banjo-Kazooie universe. However, it is unknown whether this is a Banjo-Kazooie platformer game or a spinoff of the series.

I personally, cannot see how they could create a spinoff Banjo-Kazooie, because, I don't really have it in me to go prancing around as Tootie, trying to save her brother, or some other scenario.

Anyone else got any ideas what this spinoff should be like?

I would prefere a remake of banjo-kazooie but with extra details just like on super mario 64 DS when they had extra levels and characters

By spinoff it meant something like how Banjo Pilot was a spinoff.

I'd like to see another new Banjo Game. I've played through the originals so many times plus I don't expect Rare to make another re-make as Conker: Live and Reloded sold poorly compared to Conker's Bad Fur Day. They won't want that to happen again.

Personally, I agree with shanjo. I think B-K deserves a remake on the DS just like Super Mario 64 did, with all the added extras, and some possible new levels.

However, a brand new B-K game would be good.

As long as it is better than Grunty's Revenge, I won't care.

As long as it keeps me awake, I'll like it. Maybe it can be full of random minigames, like 'Poke Grunty'. :P
