Rihannas' got a new song; and its called "Hard". I honestly don't know what to think of it, and the video doesn't help me understand the song's lyrics at all!

I honestly don't know what to think of it,
Is it not obvious?

I heard it once, was convinced it's about erections, but hated the song so I don't want to hear it again.
EDIT: I heard the song on the radio and realised upon glancing at the playlist that it was a different song entirely. Ignore my post.

I dislike Rihanna.

I thought the kids singing that in my class added in that "I'm so" part by themselves. Now I know... Now I know.

Hard- Tough, mostly because of poverty and surviving (or not) public schools. Something to be said of poor, urban American youth and essentially no one else. Marked by resourcefulness, pragmaticism, and coldness. As a result of being shit on one too many times. A desirable trait. Can also be the result of an awful family life/childhood.
I can't believe you guys don't know the street term hard. This song has nothing to do with erections, and a lot of you are ignorant for thinking that without even listening. All she does is talk about how she is cool and feeling like she is successful and whatnot.
I'm definitely not saying it's a good song, it's just clearly not a dirty one like you guys are making it out to be.

Obviously it's not about erections. Common sense should sort of tell you that. Most people just say it is as a joke. I mean how can anyone hear "I'm so hard" and not even think of a dirty joke? (Well how can most teenagers)

I guess I just found it immature but who am I to say. My apologies.

Edited my post, as my contribution turned out to be based on mis-understanding. In fairness, most of her songs sound simialr anyway....
