Actually, there were skateboarding mini-games in Mario Party.

There are and they are actually fun. There is this one where there are thwomps and the bridge is crumbling behind you and I absolutely dread it when I fall down.

It uses a remixed theme from Dark World (world 8) Super Mario Bros 3 on MP1. :cool:
