N64 Speed up

You probably knew this ages ago, if you didn't then you do now.
Has anyone tried to OverClock their N64.
For those who didn't know aparently you can OverClock your N64 to about 3x its speed (I think) by connecting pins 19 + 21 to the +3v line.

If anyone has tried this how well does it go, i.e. is it worth doing or not?

your N64 might explode, and i dont think you have insurance for "game console explosions". I do though cause my GBA blew up when i sat on it and well......... lets just part of my ass is GONE.
