Alright, so once I import a video for retroscoping, how can I chop it without it starting over? The video I'm retroscoping has a bit of a long intro, any way to crop it?

Weird this doesn't happen to me. Every single video file I import it works.

What editing suite are you using? Most shouldn't have an issue with cutting them at any point, although file format can sometimes be an issue.

What video editor are you using? This is incredibly easy in video editors such as Vegas, or Premiere Pro... If your using Movie Maker or something like that though, your S.O.L.

You're trying to remove areas of the video right? The unwanted intro.

And what do you mean by restarting? o.0

There should be some sort of meter of your whole movie. You can highlight the parts, split them and delete portions. That or finish your movie and edit with Windows Movie Maker and cut out the portion you don't want.

Try the delete button. The Alt+Ctrl+"Del" <- that delete button on the part you want to get rid of.
