[At China Town] this Asian lady came up and asked our chaperon if she wanted to purchase any purses. Our chaperon agreed, but the lady tells us that we need to follow her. The chaperon idiotically accepts. Some of the students and me get a bit nervous. The walk takes seven minutes and we have no clue where we are going. She led us to an apartment and the chaperon goes in. The chaperon's daughter begin to break down nervously, and enters, fearing about how this will end. I whisper that I don't think we should be doing this to the other students. I forgot how they replied, but they agree and enter anyway. I begin to feel my heart beating, look back, and enter the apartment.

The first thing I noticed was the the apartment was unbalanced; it tilted to my left. I also noticed that the walls were covered with vandalism. We walk into a room filled with purses, and the lady locks the door to this room. My heart goes from beating to pounding. I whisper to two boys in the room that she just locked the door. They tell me that they won't let anything happen to anyone in this room. I begin to wonder whether I should be reassured or offended. Next, I start worrying about how this will end for us. Will we get out of this hell without any harm done to us? Will we be knocked unconscious, then wake up, tied up and being sold to some sicko? Will some sort of gas be released into the room and either to knock us out of kill us? The girls buy a purse, the lady unlocks the door, and we leave the apartment with out any harm. For the next fifteen minutes, I shake like a dog, still freaked out from the experience. It is moments like this that make me glad to be alive. I didn't feel like recording anything in China Town after that, and just tried to leave as soon as I couldRelief has never been so sweet.
