View Full Version : I'm thinking of a word that...

OK here's how it goes:
Someone asks a word requirement. Then the next person has to come up with a word that fits that requirement. Example: I'm thinking of a word that is 6 letters long, starts with an O and ends with a voel. You must know that there is an answer before making the problem cause it has to be possible. Now the person who aswers FIRST gets scored by the following:

You get 3 points for replying to a requirement that has 3 requirements (like starts with B, ends with C, has 3 voels) that's 3 things.
You get 2 points for replying to a requirement that has 2 requirements
You get half the amount of points than normal for replying to someone who got a wrong answer, rounded UP. SO if someone misses 2 pointer, you get 1 point. If they miss a 3 pointer, you get 2 points.

You can also make it with more than 3 requirements, and it's worth that many points.

2 word words are allowed only if they go together. So Fire truck would be OK but Fire calender or something rediculous wouldn't be.
Also, the reply doesn't have to be what you had in mind. As long as it fits the requirements, you're OK.
We willthe number of requirements. We'll start with 2. Then every 5 posts it will go up one.

Here we go:

Post #1 worth 2 points: I'm thinking of a word that starts with D and ends with an L.

OK nevermind the points system as it'd be kinda hard to keep track. But you do get bonus points for guessing the exact work, even though you don't NEED to.

And your word: Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho
Remember: I said that it can be more than one word as long as they go together, and HO HO is something Santa would say lol
Oh and my previous word was doodle, but that's OK

I'm thinking of a word that starts with P and ends in O and is NOT the word Potato.

Oh, and that's firetruck. (What s.w.a.t said, this was all for him)

I'm thinking of a word that ends with m and has 11 vowels. This is also a real word.

Upsilon

Most of those words aren't real....

Right, because the Chambers Dictionary makes up words for kicks every now and then.

For your information, a dwaal is a state of inattention of confusion, dwale is another name for belladonna, dwam is a Scots word equivalent in meaning to "swoon", a dwang is a piece of timber used to reinforce joists, a dwile is a floorcloth or mop and to dwine is to waste away or grow feeble. So there.

Anyway... I'm going to go with bum's rush, provided that's allowed.

Oh, and think of a word that starts with Z and ends with A. It's like my last one... but backwards.
