IGN article (http://revolution.ign.com/articles/697/697922p1.html)
I'm a bit slow on the uptake today, but in case you didn't hear Nintendo has partnered up with Sega and Hudson to give you Genesis and TG-16 games for the Revolution! Above is a link with the main details, but I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts. I think this news is really great! I never owned any of Sega's old systems so maybe this'll finally give me a good reason to play some of their classics.
I guess the old saying "what Sega has Nintendon't" doesn't apply anymore! :D

Thats heaps weird i only just read that today aswell, i was going to post it actually. Do you think they will have the old sega master system games on it as well if segas allowing a back catalog maybe they will also allow DC and SS but it wouldn't really matter i don't surpose as the ss didn't have much anyway.

Um...downloading Saturn and Dreamcast games would not be pretty, they're a lot bigger than Cartridge software.
And turbographix-16?

That means I'll be able to download the old Sonic games and play the games I never had :D.
What is TG16? I've never heard of it.

Think it may have been the system that had the original Metal Gear on it.
Edit: Wait..no, that's not right, not right at all.
It was the MSX not the Turbographix...always get those two mixed up.

TG16 is an abbreviation for TurboGraphx-16. This Wikipedia article might answer some of your questions! ^_^

The MSX had the original Metal Gear, then a horribly translated verison was ported to the NES.
Metal Gear 2 was only released on the MSX (Well..and PS2 I suppose since it's part of MGS3: Subsitance).
Snake's Revenge...ung. Is a completely different game from metal Gear 2, infact it's completely different from the entire series and was not made by Hideo Kojima.
