shows some beta bits from Conker and Banjo. So it turns out, Mr. Vile's speaking gibberish is from the beta skull enemy in Mumbo's Mountain.

That's really cool, Cyberen. It's too bad at that point Rare had already removed Mt. Fire Eyes! Wasn't BK actually supposed to have come out in 1997, instead of DKR?

Sorry Cyberen, this video has already been posted a month ago, but still good none the less. Some things I noticed while watching it are:

The blue Mumbo thing I'm guessing was a character they used to fill the enemy place while the grublings were being made, like how in Perfect Dark beta all the enemies were either Trent or Mr. Blonde.
The blue Mumbo makes the same noise as Mr. Vile.
Juju the Totem pole is not spinning

There's also lots of Zelda stuff and a small part of the original Conker in the video.

Yea, I posted this on my thread and so did others but it's ok. I like how the blue mumbo thing has Mr.Viles voice.

For what it's worth, Kazooie is mentioned in the DKR instruction manual.

B-K was supposed to be released in 1997, but when it was delayed, they had to fill in that holiday spot with a game, so the made DKR to fill in + introduce some characters. This explains why it was a surprise when it was released, because due to sort of short time for the project to be completed, it was a game that Rare practically pulled out of it's ass quickly and released. not much was known about the game til right near launch. And yes, Kazooie is mententioned in the manual, as well as the Players Guide.

I personally thought Diddy Kong Racing was a good game. Can I see some pictures of said Kazooie reference?

It's in the little handbook you get with the game pak, mentioning that before Banjo met Kazooie, he's a racer and has to help Diddy, bla bla.

May I ask - what was the point of posting this video?

To show some things of what Banjo Kazooie looked like when it was beta and because it's interesting. Is that a good enough reason?
