I'm not sure if this can be considered pirating, considering that it came out in 1994 for DOS, but I would really like to get my hands on the original Doom (or doom 95) full version. I've looked around and I just can't find it! Can someone help me out here?

You can buy Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, TNT, Plutonia and Doom 2 at Wal Mart for about $10. I also think that it includes a demo of Doom 3 or something.

That was a special "limited" edition, unfortunately.

It's increasingly difficult to get your hands on these old games without having to buy online. I can't provide you with mine or show you where you can get the full version, but it's not exactly that hard. BitTorrent is probably a good resource, or if you're into that P2P rubbish, then there's eDonkey or... whatever else the kids use these days.

If you're not turned off by buying online, eBay is by far the greatest thing evar.

Or maybe if you're lucky you'll run into some copies in a dollar bin at some game shop or electronics store :)

Really? I was at Wal Mart just yesterday and I saw it on the shelf, along with Quake 3: Gold Edition.
