Note: This is NOT a site advertisement but rather a short notice about my upcoming comic.
It's a comic series. Sort of like SVT. In the meantime, here's the lowdown on my latest "Jakery" project:
Sonic E is the latest project brought to you by the Jakery (a lovely new name I have made for my collection of projects). It is an online comic series featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and his pals (as well as enemies). However, the story doesn't follow them into infiltrating Eggman's base. Instead, they are constantly fighting an unknown foe, with Eggman popping up once in a while to give them trouble. The story begins with the Master Emerald acting up. After some research, Sonic and Knuckles realize that the Chaos Emeralds are flying around the planet at an colossal speed. Sonic thinks it's Eggman, but no one knows for sure. Just what is causing this phenomenon to happen?
Sonic E is not a monthly comic book series. Instead, it will be updated constantly, with new pages arousing every once in a while. The Sonic E comics are rated PG (by default) for mild language and occasional nudity. There are also three comics in a series, and it is planned to have twelve comics before I decide if I want to continue (hopefully I will). Also, each comic will have a minimum of fifteen pages, which means it won't be easy trying to complete a single comic.
Some people think Sonic E is connected to Sonic X, the new Japanese animation cartoon by Sega, due to the similarity in name. In fact, the only connection between them is the introduction music comic, which so happens to have the lyrics to "Sonic Drive," but that's it. However, some humans may appear for small roles, but there won't be anyone like Chris, Chuck, or Sam.
Sonic E is based on the Sega Sonic continuity. What does that mean? That means that there is only going to be Sega Sonic elements. Some Sonic X references may be made, there will be no characters or ideas from the Sonic comics or the Sonic cartoons.
A sample page is scheduled to be uploaded tomorrow or Sunday.
