What is your favorite iteration of the Megaman series? I love Zero. I don't know why people think it is so hard and unlikable.

I think the best one is the "x" saga, and the worst is (and many of you will agree with me) the Battle Network saga.

You guys are wrong. Battle Network is sweet! That game is cool. Maybe a bit slow moving and hard, but good. Never played Zero.

I don't have a problem with Battle Network's gameplay, but it changed the whole concept of megaman and it transformed he into a computer program?!!
And it made 6 versions which offered very crappy stories and nothing else.

First of all, I voted for Mega Man Zero.
Second, the "DS one" counts as Battle Network 5.
Third, Battle Network 2 is the best of the Battle Networks.

Well that would explain why I thought it was so good, 2 is the only one I own at the moment. I'm gonna get 1 and 3 soon. There are 6 I believe, it was called like Battle Network Championship? Grand Prix? I forget.

I love Zero too. I do think it's hard though. Love that sword.

Notice that 2 is the best in each one? Megaman 2, X2, Zero2, and Battle Network are all the best from their own series.

My fav series is Megaman Zero, but I miss the original so much ;_;

Btw, it's funny that the new MZ for nds will be called Megaman Zero X.
Like, Capcom couldn't make all those spin-offs confusing enough story-line wise, they decided to mess up with the name scheme too.

That reminds me of a friend who bought a copy of Rockman X5...
There was a really funny naration voice in the title screen that always yelled:
Rokoman... [pause] IKRURISO FAI!!! (translating: Rockman X five)

I voted for Megaman X. I loved that game (it was also the only one I could beat entirely).

I voted for Megaman X, but it was a close one between X and Zero. I actually enjoy almost every game of the series,(except Battle Network, that just plain sucked(in my opinion)) even the original.
