In the opening scene for BK, grunty HAS FINGERS.

In everything enes, such as BT, she has a thumb, and a large curveg palm thingy! What happned?! did rare get lazy about to doing the turhing of the lines for the fingeries?;)

In Banjo-Kazooie's cutscenes, in particular the intro cutscene and prologue, the game uses character models with a higher poly-count, as they have only a small number of characters and object on-screen for the most part and can afford to devote more of the N64's power to it. As a result, you're going to see more detailed ligaments and smoother curves with those models.

Interestingly, you can actually replace Banjo's image in-game with any of the cutscene models - and despite the model being twice the size of the standard in-game Banjo model, you won't receive any slowdown whatsoever. It's kind of funky.

i actually never noticed that, i always thought it was just the same as in-game... hmm
one thing i noticed was on official pictures, all her hands are detailed and after looking at the game, it looked really strange.

yea. in the 3D models, they are like.. clay or plastic. but in-game, they look weird..

can anyone replace the model of a baddie with gruntilda on a broom and the in-game basnjo with cut secne banjo? id like to see that! lol

Yeah, I noticed that with Bottles too. Opening of BK and BT, he has fingers. In the rest of BK, just a palm and thumb, and the same goes for his dead body in BT. :P

Grunty's mitten hands bothered me too, but I guess she had some extra bones showing so they had to cut down on the bones in her hands til it was one big bony hand.

What is the GS code for replacing the banjo model with the cutscene one?
