How come Nintendo continued the gameboy advance line? I mean, some games were pretty good, but they don't even make many games for the system now anyway. You could go to Gamestop and buy a used gameboy adv. game for $5.:D

There's still games being produced for the Game Boy Advance... just not that many, and I think there's only one from Nintendo themselves. Mother 3, if I recall, recently came out, or is going to come out.
But the reason they're continuing with the GBA is because it's still popular and it's cheap for consumers. When the DS came out, Nintendo said the DS would act as a third pillar and the GBA would be carried on seperately. The GBA is still doing relatively well, and all GBA games can be played on the DS, so I don't see why they wouldn't keep continuing that line.
However when the Wii comes out I'd expect the GBA's life to be at it's end. As you can already tell, production of new games has dwindled, and I can take that as a sign they could be preparing for the Game Boy Advance's successor.
