Well, if I remember correctly, I think they said "Xbox 360 AND Kinect." I don't know if that means that you can use the controllers as well.

In my opinion, I think that all Kinect games should also work with a controller, because otherwise it is just a slap in the face for paraplegics.

Maybe when you got up for a second because they literally only mentioned it for like 2 or 3 minutes. All they said was about it being a huge indie game and how you will soon be able to play it on xbox. And they showed a picture.

A bit of random speculation here:

Rare said they had two games at E3
Microsoft's press conference goes by, we see Kinect Sports Season 2, and nothing else.
The Minecraft conference included the Minecraft game, saying it's an MS exclusive and uses Kinect.
Notch has tweeted that Mojang isn't doing the 360 version.
Is Rare porting Minecraft over to the 360?

EDIT: Unless I missed it and Rare did Kinect Fun Lab.

Well Kinect Fun lab isn't a game but you could probably find out if Rare had involvement by trying it out.

However, most likely Rare does have another game up their sleeve because in the big directory list of game demos for the next 3 days, there are two game demos listed as "super secret sequel (tba)" and one listed as "super secret remake"

I'm going to guess that the remake demo is one of Halo anniversary. One of the other could be Rare. And no matter the case, its a sequel. I know its hoping for too much the way it is, but we may quite possibly see a long awaited sequel to a rare franchise like Banjo. A sequel we want, that is. This is better discussion for a rare thread though.

I don't think Minecraft will be mentioned again at E3 though so I don't think Rare is behind it.

Wow. That would be unexpected if they did. Seems likely, the way you posted it, unless you did miss Kinect Fun Labs.

They said their new game wasn't related to an old franchise, so that's out. Sequel and remake are possibly both Halo.

And Rare doesn't have a panel. So they would have had to have their project mentioned in the keynote (and as a MGS-owned subsidiary, it probably would have.)

Idk, I think the Minecraft port being run by them is a possibility.

It's not just for Kinect. And I would NOT recommend that. Just get it on the PC, so you can get mods an such, and join the RWP server.

That little bar at the bottom of the screen on G4 just read that Minecraft is coming to 360 and it supports Kinect, it did not however say it requires Kinect.
