New SSBB Characters [Archive]

Which ones would you like the most? I want Zero, Megaman, King K Rool, and Kraid/Ridley. I know that Kraid and Ridley are big, but they could be sized down, like Bowser. Or a Space Pirate.

Well Banjo would be nice, but I guess that's been out of the question since 2002.

I would like to see Star Wolf in it, and maybe Leon as well. Star Wolf is the best villain. Ever. It would be great to see Ganon from the end of OOT in it. Apart from those I wouldn't mind seeing Sonic but I can't really think of anyone else.

I just hope they don't do what they did with Melee and make all the extra characters exact copies of the others attack wise. Ganondorf was Captain Falcon, Falco was Fox etc.

BTW, shouldn't the topic title just be "SBB?" First off, SSMB is incorrect, you probably meant SSBM, which is only the second game. If you're talking about the new game (I assume so) it should be "SSB" or "SSBB" (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

King K. Rool and King Dedede are the people I would like to see more than anyone else. But there's a whole bunch of others I'd love to see... although the chances of most of them getting in there are quite slim. :P Hey, I can dream.

It's great that third-party characters can be in SSB now, but... I'm worried that it'll lose that special, nostalgic, "Nintendo pride" feeling now. Am I the only one concerned by this?

these are new the characters that I think should be on ssbb: sonic espio knuckles jinjo shy guy banjo kazooie metal sonic jet slippy tricky mumbo boo wolf leon panther krystal peppy shadow King boo toad king k. rool diddy lanky chunky tiny... thats it.

Only part of the Sonic team works on every game, and I think Nintendo asks for permission to use a charicter, the Nintendo desings it.

Sonic Rush is for Nintendo DS.
Sonic Wildfire was the one announced for the Wii.
EDIT: Also, Sonic Rush was designed by a company called Dimps, not Sonic Team.

I remember a topic like this, but I think it got deleted.
Anyway I think that there should be no more Mario Characters (not including K Rool) because they already have so many they should add characters for games other then Legend of Zelda and Mario. (Although everyone can hope for their own opinion).

This may not be possible but I want to see Animal Crossing Characters, fighting as Tom Nook would be awesome. (Though there is a 3% chance of that).
Besides they showed a trophy of Nook in Meele.
Let's hope the mentioned characters are not the only ones. (they maybe the non secret Characters).

wen i sent a letter to nintendo about a year and a half ago asking them to make a new super smash bros. game i included wario, waluigi, daisy, birdo, dedede, meta knight, ridley, space pirate, dark samus, star wolf, peppy, slippy, bomberman, megaman, paula, jeff, poo, dixie, diddy, k. rool, samuri goroh, black shadow, and any other pokemon for the new characters. i also asked that they take dr. mario and young link out of the game and let mario have the ability to turn into dr. mario and have link use the ocarina to turn into young link. they said that those were some good ideas so i guess we'll see wut happens. i never would have dreamed snake would be in the game so hell, bring on the third party characters lol

If anyone can remember... Jim was in Clayfighter 63 1/3...

He was a rubbish character in that and he could have been improved alot more...

I'd love to see him in SSBB... but I think the chances are minimal...

I've just thought of another one. Dark Link. Even though he's not much different to Link he is was great fun to fight and looks so cool (If you want a challenge try fighting him without using a shield)

Maybe they could somehow put Andross in the game as well.

As for first party characters, I'd like to see Ridley, Dark Samus, Sylux, King K. Rool, Diddy Kong, Fawful, Skull Kid (with Majora's Mask on), and Oni Link. I'd also like to see some more oddball first party characters, like Ray 01, Rakenson, and Rahu 1 from Custom Robo, or John Raimi from Geist (OK, Geist wasn't very good, but he'd be cool to play as... XP), or Alexandra Rovias and Pious Augustus from Eternal Darkness. Since Snake is in, I'd love to see more MGS characters, like Grey Fox, Solidus Snake, and Vamp. Earthworm Jim would make a great third-party guy to play as too. :p

Edit: I forgot Wolf from Star Fox and Kind Dedede from Kirby. XD
