If I were to record (not stream) myself playing a Hardcore-only series of Minecraft, would anyone watch?

Hardcore does not allow you to change difficulty - it is always at the max. Additionally, if you die, the world is automatically deleted.

I tried to play Hardcore a little earlier tonight. "Oh hey, a cave". Fall into said cave with no light. Promptly blow up from two hidden creepers. World auto-deletes.

Sad face.

Would much rather watch hardcore mode on a map that makes it REALLY hard

Like a 100% underground map
Or a map that starts you out on a tiny island far above lava with only a few dozen dirt blocks, a tree, two buckets of water and one bucket of lava

I like watching your streams. Recorded videos would be more convenient probably.

How about this: I'll play my first map with a random seed, but after I die (And I WILL die), I'll start a new map with a viewer-chosen seed.

I'm not going to add any additional challenges, such as "Only stay underground" or something. It's hard enough as it is.

@Gruntling: My PC isn't powerful enough to stream Minecraft. It'd be horribly laggy. That's why recording is the better option.

I'll make you a deal: If I get to 10 yes votes, I'll give it a shot.

You want hard core mode, or little baby man diaper daycare mode? Or hard mode?

Little Baby Man Diaper Daycare Mode is one up from hard more, fyi. I think you could consider this mode "Kill Lucifer With Nothing But A Thumb Tact Mode"..
