I'll be honest, I was surprised to see Zelda on that list, I thought for sure it'd be ignored in favour of some Xbox/PS3 game. I'm glad it's there though, I've been getting the feeling recently it's been overlooked by the other blockbuster titles, especially as it's out in about 2 weeks, I've not seen any adverts for it or anything.

Wether it'll win though...nah. It'll go to Arkham City.

I didn't choose this list, personally I think arkham city is an awful game, it's nothing more than arkham asylum with a fancier map. It's a disappointing example of the laziness the industry has had in recent events and the belief that you can remake anything that works and change one thing, and have everyone throw their money at you (guitar hero, call of duty, etc).

That being said, this year one of the judges is kotaku. Go seek them. Every game on this list other than skyrim has been played by me, let alone them and the other judges. Skyward sword was at tokyo game show and e3 both, as well as various other things and skyrim was leaked to news outlets over a week ago.
