I have started a recreation project for the semi-popular Nintendo 64 game "Glover".
As of right now I have gotten most of the hub world done. I have just the tower and the tower cave to complete. I will be going through each world as well. The progress I've made on the hub world has taken me roughly 3 days. If anyone is interested I will continuously update this thread with my progress.
Here is the hub world as it looks right now: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/gloverrecreation1.png/
The Hub world with the completed Tower: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/404/gloverrecreation2.png/
Tower Cavern Completed: http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/7521/gloverrecreation3.png
Tutorial Tunnel Complete: http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/6105/gloverrecreation4.png

Tower has been completed. I've updated the first post.
Next is the tower cave
I'll also change its location in the world to a better biome. That way the grass is more green and less yellow. Right now it's in a desert.

You just blew my mind with the nostalgia-ness. I used to love Glover as a kid, along with those other semi-popular N64 games like Chameleon Twist and Goemon. Keep up the good work!

Ah, I remember that I played Glover a lot when I was a kid. I tried it two years ago and didn't like it anymore. Haven't aged well.
Glover 2 would've been rather intersting, what I played from it (after all, the beta ROM was found and dumped) it would've been more similar to Banjo-Kazooie.
Good work.

The Tower Cavern has been completed. Updated OP.
I apologize for the low lighting. The torches kept melting the ice on the walls so I had to get rid of a few. And I know I could have contoured the shape of the inner ring more to fit it, but dammit rounded shapes are hard enough in minecraft, let alone in confined spaces.

Glover used to freak me out. Not to mention it was rather difficult. It had it's moments though. I like Gex when I was younger, I'd actually love to see a reboot of sorts...with better game play of course. Good job with the minecraft though.

I know it's been a while, but I'm still working on it! Don't fret.
I've completed the Tutorial Tunnel. Updated the OP with picture.
In case you're wondering, the green collumn in the back is supposed to be the "Finish Line" or whatever you wanna call it. Couldn't think of any other suitable way to depict that.

Bumped for Update:
I have completed Atlantis Act I. I know it looks a bit small, but I've been doing it on sort of a 1:1 scale. If it looks like 1 block in glover, I do 1 block in minecraft. And for some reason, when that happens, everything appears to be bigger in Glover than in minecraft. Even though everything matches almost perfectly. The Hub World, Tower Cavern, and Tutorial Tunnel all look normal though. So maybe it's just that level. I don't know, we'll see soon enough.

But I love Gex. :(
The first one was awesome and you know it. The second one was good. The third one was kind of mediocre, but still okay.
