Still? I've never played DOD. I'm not really into PC games... although Counter Strike: Condition Zero has an excellent multiplayer that I liked. I also used to play the multiplayer for Half-Life (against my multimedia class) and also Quake.

Lots of people I know favour Battlefield over DOD. Fools, the lot of 'em. I never really got into CS. Played it a couple of times, but it didn't gel.

We just bought a copy for Mandy online from steam for $19.99

We'll be playing. I've been trying to go on for an hour or more every night.

I've tried to get into online gaming, but I just haven't been able to... well... get into it :) I did get fairly addicted to World of Warcraft for a bit last year, but I played solo, so that doesn't count :p

I love DoD. My compy can't run Source, however. If you guys are interested, I would love playing DoD with you guys.

I have HL1 and 2, but I never bought DOD:Source, because the I didn't really like the original (however, I only played it for 20 minutes or so), so therefore I never spent the money for DOD:Source, in addition to the fact that I'm rather cheap. Perhaps after some persuasion I'll try out the original again, then maybe buy the new one. Also, I tend to not play the multiplayer games that often (save for LAN parties) due to the constant spamming of music, campers, hackers, ignorant people, and all others who wish to make the experience distasteful.

Well, that was an interesting game, Ice! I'm not really good at the regular DoD maps, all of us RWPers should play a game at the Wal Mart map, it's awesome to play big team matches on.

Maps of modern place don't really do it for me in Day of Defeat. It goes against everything the game stands for. Now, Rainbow Six in Wal Mart would be good fun.

Indeed, but on the web I can find places that are mostly desolate of those aformentioned people, yet I've found with online games that there is never such a thing as a safe server.

It's funny, I've never played a game of DoD. My brother and I own and run a lan center gaming center and it's almost entirely CS 1.6 when it comes to Valve. I'll have to check DoD out and see if I can generate interest in it.

I bought CS:Source (which came with DOD:Source and Half-Life 2 DM), but I don't have a good enough video card to play any of the source games. :(

Well, I'm probably going to buy DoD: Souce soon. For now, I'm sticking to CS, CS:S, and HL2. I go by "fk.Jebus" on CS, and "fk.Sarge" on CS:S. (It's a muti-game clan.) My Steam-ID is "steamedfire", and I've already added GM2K, Mandy, and Mazza.

Also, Ice, I'm having you banned.

Oh wait.

EDIT-

Day One: Andre joins the RaD Clan Server and fails to complete an objective or make a kill.
Day Two: Andre gets his first kill and starts to get to know the maps.
Day Four: Andre finally gets a positive score, and kills Mandy and Ice a few times.
Day Ten: (Projected) Andre goes 100-0 and wins the game single-handedly, making Mazza cry.
