I keep trying to pass this YTP for this thread in media shack, and get this: VIACOM REMOVES EVERYTHING NICKELOADEON RELATED NOW. I uploaded it, and I put this SPECIFICLY in the description: "Spongebob and Nickelodeon are all properties of Viacom. No copyright claim intended." Then, a day later, I get an email that says that my video has been blocked by Viacom. WHAT THE..... Help someone!

Viacom's very whiny like that. Stop using nickelodeon material.

Don't use Nickelodeon material unless you want to be sued by the assholes at Viacom.

I'm sure that description will prevent it from being copyright violation in any way, shape, or form. Shame that Viacom goes to such lengths to protect their property.

Except that in this case it's because they're overprotective.

I don't give a shit. Youtube poops are awful, not funny, and obnoxious.
I don't care if the companies are over protective or just being straight up assholes. If the end result is one less YTP, then I am happy.

If someone made a documentary on why cartoons make children stupid, and it was about 60 minutes long, then they could legally use up to 25 minutes of spongebob, for commentary and documentational purposes.
Not sure on the length, but they could legally use it so long as it was non profit
