...do you think Rare will make Banjo-Kazooie games just like the N64 ones, or maybe ports of them? I think that would be awesome.

There will soon be a system that can support 64 bits. It's called Zodiac.
I'll have full coverage of it when my site relaunches:
http://www.gaminghighway.com/
Im one of the only sites with Zodiac information.

Hmmm... Zodiac. Sounds pretty cool, as long as the games are good. Perhaps I should've made the topic title "When handheld systems that Rare will support..."

Wait, I thought Playstations Handheld was suppose to have Dreamcast power. Wouldn't that kill zodiac, or did I miss something, or just misinterpret "Dreamcast Power" as meaning "Dreamcast Amount of bits" when its really just..something...else.

I'm pretty sure it was the amount of bits, but I don't really remember anymore. I haven't been keeping up with that handheld.
As for the Zodiac, like all good systems that come before they are needed, it may sadly fail because of the lack of support. Does it have any titles coming out for it here soon? If not, it might go the way of the Neo-Geo, or those other crappy systems of old, such as the Jaguar.

I guess the real issue is whether handheld will have an analog stick, whether they are going towards that, or continuing the game boy/game gear d-pad style.
It may not be whether they could do it, but how they do it.

I think they might stick with the D-Pad. A lot of the original Playstation games that didn't support the analog stick played well with it. Either that, or some sort of flat "analog pad" of sorts. If that's even possible. The way an analog stick works... it's kind of a big unit. So come to think of it, it'll probably be digital.
It'll be interesting to see, anyway.

well, there was a kind of analog pad, where it was a sliding thumbpad, but i don't think it was springy and had a neutral position, so that might not work...

a control stick would be best.

So, how about getting back on topic?
I think that a new original Banjo N64-type handheld game would be awesome. I probably wouldn't buy a port since I still own my N64.

I wouldn't mind seeing BK or BT on a portable system...

Are you trying to turn this into a "BT and BKGR's gameplay was disappointing because there was no SNS!" thread? I'm glad to see people so excited over something as cool as GBA connectivity, except more primitive... [/sarcasm]
