Well, I think the title explains it all.

Give your opinions, and please do discuss.

Imagunna have to say Blackeye because I don't think SNS is much of a mystery anymore. It's just a disabled feature which we know a lot about (sort of). Blackeye on the other hand, we know next to nothing about, all we have are theories and plausible explanations, not real proof. That's my opinion.

Rare's biggest mystery thus far revolves around the issue as to why they haven't released a sequel to Battletoads in over a decade.

I'm actually serious. To be honest, this applies to most of their franchises, and while I support their effort to branch out and create new intellectual properties, they have so much already available to them that I find it odd to leave them untouched.

Why would they make a sequal. I never played it but I would think it wasn't so good. Plus, with Viva Pinata coming out, a new Rare DS coming out we don't know what it is, DKR DS, and with the thought that this whole site is waiting for another Banjo game.

I had nooo idea what to do with Blackeye. I mean, he drinks something(seawater?) and reminisces about something ( don't remeber what though),thats why he gets my vote.

WHERE IS DK64'S SCROLL OF GAMEPLAY?!! :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

In all seriousness though? Bottles' Revenge. No I don't care that it's been solved and is not technically a mystery anymore. Bottles' Revenge.

I voted sns, caus it's so much more than a mystery. 20 years from now people may still talk about the legend of sns :p

SNS because it's the only one I've heard of before.

Stop N Swop of course. It's more than just Rare's greatest mystery, it's the greatest mystery of all time in video game history! 8 years later, and still it hasn't been solved. It will one day, of course, but when? We shall just have to wait patiently and see.

I'd have to say any beta pic of BK. Those have always been so mysterious to me. We may have made headway on SnS, but we don't have any info (and most likely never will) have any about these lost levels.

if no one finds it in 20 years i'll decide that it doesn't exist anymore, i mean 20 years?

I have to say Blackeye. Like, we already have been able to guess and figure out things about Stop N Swop like how it might of been used, but Blackeye, he's just... there. I don't even think you can go and buy him the drink he asks for with the money he gives you. XP

You forgot one more subject. Rare. It's more mysterious than all these combined because it is all this combined plus more...

I put stop N swop because I think there is still more to it that we haven't figured out, and the hint that they put in GBTG added the possibility of decoy eggs...its so mind-boggling

"Swop" Things between various rare N64 games.

How can we be sure? Who knows, it could be anything! SnS could function purely in one game, or not involve transfer or anything related to it..

Yeah, I voted for SnS and will stop hurting your head now.

I said Blackeye because we hardly know anything about him.

But isn't blackeye directly related to SnS? That much we DO now about him. That and he's the captain of a ship, which is belived to be the Rusty Bucket.

Blackeye, a mystery shrouded in enigma.

However, I do wonder what happened to thunderfists arm.

The greatest mystery is:

WHY Rare is keeping its mouth shut about all of those matters, or mocking the quests by avid gamers?

The greatest mystery is:

WHY Rare is keeping its mouth shut about all of those matters, or mocking the quests by avid gamers?

The answer is a simple one. They have a lame answer, and a sense of humor about it all. They love hanging this thing over their heads, like a carrot on a stick. And we are the donkeys, people.

And why would THAT be?
Rare is sadistic indeed.
