Dixie finally returned in the 2004 Game Boy Advance port of Donkey Kong Country 2, which was still developed by Rare, which still maintained a working relationship with Nintendo to do the remodeled Game Boy Advance versions of the DKC games. The game retold the story of Dixie's first adventure, but it featured several new elements — such as the return of Tiny Kong, who made a surprise cameo in a Funky Kong mini-game.

She was brought back in a full-fledged new game in 2005's Donkey Konga 2 for the Nintendo GameCube, which put her alongside DK and Diddy in a bongo-beating music game. The same year, Dixie appeared in her first Mario game, Mario Superstar Baseball, as a secret character, in Team Donkey Kong unlockable by finishing the Challenge Mode as Donkey Kong. She then went on to appear as a playable character in PAON's DK King of Swing for the Game Boy Advance and the Japan-only game Donkey Konga 3. Dixie is also set to appear in her second Mario game, Mario Hoops 3-on-3, with her special move to be called Dixie's Barrel Oop [1]. Most recently, she has been set to star in the bongo racing game DK Bongo Blast for the GameCube (see picture) and may be featured on the new Diddy Kong Racing title for Nintendo DS.

Wow... I didn't notice how much she's coming back over the years. Probably because I haven't played any of the games she was in except for DK2 and DK3, haha.

I really didn't get why Rare made 2 new characters for DK64, rather then using 2 old ones that fit their spots perfectly (I'm sure you all know who I'm referring too).

DKC2 PWND DEM ALLZ.

Well, Diddy Kong has made a comeback too. I mean, he's been in Mario Superstar Baseball, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Power Tennis, Donkey Konga and Donkey Konga 2, and he's bound to be in more DK and Mario games!

dixie isn't in DKR Ds tht's tiny kong (despite dixie is cooler) and i also find it stupid that they made tiny and chunky instead of just using dixie and the other monkey from DKC3. n i'm glad diddy made a comeback, he's my faviroute kong

Dixie is my favorite DK charater.
I hated those DK Kunga or whatever thay are called and I got bored of DK King of Swings.I missed the Rare's DK games.:(
I kinda liked Tiny and Chunky but I also miss that Baby kong.
I'm not too intested in those Mario Sports except Mario Tennis.
Why are thay remaking the DK series (DKC-DKR so far)? Thay Missed DKL-DKL3.Is this the Second time thay remaded the DKC series?

Well those are my thoughts about the DK series so far.

Yes, DKL series were basic remakes of the console games. But, they had their own tweaks to make them new games (That's why it is "Land" instead of "Country").

DKL X was both a port and a partial follow-up to the Super Nintendo smash hit, Donkey Kong Country X.

Also, the other Kong in DKC3 is "Kiddy Kong", just so everyone knows...

I have to say the first Donkey Kong Land was the best one.
It had new level themes and enemies along with new level design.
There was a level on top of buildings, an underwater ruin, a pirate ship (different from the ships in DKC2) snowy mountains full of pine trees (similar to the snow stages in DKC3), new bosses, flying pigs etc.

The other DKL only had different (and sometimes lazy) level design.
Also, DKL3 had a special coloured version in japan. I've just read it on wikipedia. :)
