Just as the thread title says. :D What concerts have you guys been to, and what ones would you like to go to sometime?

On August 13, I went to my first concert: Poison and Cinderella, with special guest Endeverafter! It was really cool because the concert was right in my hometown, and the tickets weren't too expensive ($37.50 each). We got great seats, too! Had an awesome view of the stage. I went with my mom and Ciara, a friend of mine.

Endeverafter is a pretty young band that formed only a year ago, but they were very good! Ciara and I screamed quite a bit during their performance, and they must've heard us: the band members came up to our section in the stands after they were done! Not only did I get to meet the band members, but I got hugs from two of them. ^_^ They were very sweet. Their website (http://www.endeverafter.com/) isn't up yet, but go to their MySpace for pictures and samples of their work.

Cinderella played next, and they were awesome! As soon as the banner was put up, everyone was pumped. They put on an amazing show, complete with pyrotechnics and a very long drum solo. They've been to my city before at the start of their career (from what they said), and they seemed to enjoy being back in town for the day. :D

But of course, the focus of the concert was Poison! I love their music, but seeing them in concert is beyond awesome. They put on one hell of a show! The band members were so cool, especially C.C. DeVille and his guitar solos between songs. They ended the concert with "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "Talk Dirty to Me", and both songs were amazing. :D Of course, they also threw in a lot of pyrotechnics during the show to keep the crowd pumped. It was very, very cool.

Figures that my first concert was to see an '80s glam rock band! And now, a few pictures. These were taken by one of my mom's friends and not us, but she doesn't mind us sharing them with others.

I heard there's going to be a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert this fall and it won't be too far from where I live, but chances are looking slim for that. D'aww. If I do get to go to that one I'd die of joy. :D;;

So! Your turn. o-O

I've been to a few... some that I regret, too.

Avril Lavigne: Sucked; the only thing it had going for it was Gob opening for it.

Sum 41: I definitely enjoyed this one.

Green Day: It was pretty good, but My Chemical Romance opened for them, and they were just god awful.

Billy Talent: I used to think they were cool. Until I saw them in concert.

I've been to various Weird Al Yancovic concerts, though I was too young t remember any of them. Last year I went to the Video Games Live concert in Seattle, and since they're coming back this year I intend to go again. :)

The concerts I went too were too sporatic and random to mention, but I will note that I saw Nine Inch Nails five times in the last two years o-O.

I went to a Slayer concert in June, and that's the only one in recent history. But I plan on going to a few next summer, preferably White Stripes or something.

Being the huge music fan I am, you guys would probably assume that I would have been to tons of concerts, but to be honest, I've only been to one :(

It was Kiss and Poison. Kiss was awesome, but I didn't like Poison at all.

I've tried to go see Slayer a couple times, I tried to go to the Unholy Alliance Tour and I tried to go see Rob Zombie and Godsmack, but sh*t never works out (don't have a ride, too expensive).

I've been to my share in the past:

- Classic Albums Live!: St. Pepper's Hearts Club Band (a few months ago) and last night's performance of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (which was insane btw.)
- Earthday Birthday: I forgot which one, but it was a few years ago. It was more of a gigantic party than an actual set of concerts.
- I may go see Staind in concert here eventually, but that's only because my friends would drag me along.
- It's not really a concert, but I might also see Carlos Mencia live here in a few months should my friends snag tickets. Who knows.
- I've gone to a few small concerts as well for local bands and such, but nothing really memorable.

I am, as always, entirely jealous of Grey Jinjo. Grar! :p

Hmm, the most recent concert I've been to was the Oxegen music festival which was on in Kildare last month. It was absolutely fantastic. Well, aside from the pneumonia-inducing weather, subaquatic, trenchfooted camping sites, the hundreds of thousands of drunken pikeys attending the festival for the sole reason of being violent and idiotic (they set the entire camping site on fire the last day, and knocked over guard towers), and the equally pikey-like security guards. But! The music itself was absolutely GREAT. Here's a list of the bands I saw, as much as I can remember.

Franz Ferdinand - who were fantastic
Red Hot Chili Peppers - who were also fantastic
Regina Spektor - who was, again, fantastic and was also extremely modest and, well, nice, to the audience who were freezing with the cold :p
The Arctic Monkeys - who were a little bit arse, I thought
The Who - who were The Who, or half of The Who at any rate
Guillemots - they had a hilarious pretentious frontman, but were actually alright
Delorentos - a little-known-of Irish alternative rock band who are sexygood, I recommend going to their MySpace account (http://www.myspace.com/delorentos) and listening to Any Other Way
Hard-Fi - I didn't like them that much, at least live, but I did like how the lead singer fellow tried to drag his mic-stand around with him in a typically rock-and-roll fashion, only for it to disconnect midsong. When it was eventually reconnected a verse or two later he didn't realise and was still cursing. Oh yes.
Kaiser Chiefs - they put on a great performance... Ricky Wilson even crowdsurfed at one point
The Magic Numbers - who have a brilliantly jolly singer, despite his surname being Ganon
The Blizzards - lovely unfamous Irish ska/rock band
Rodrigo Y Gabriela - YES. Up with this sort of thing!
Dirty Pretty Things - really, really good, but for some reason they were shoved into one of the smaller, more obscure stages

And plenty more, but I can't seem to remember them. Aside from that, I haven't been to many concerts. Just a few local gigs and such, ones in which the above-mentioned Delorentos and The Blizzards played at just a week before that Oxegen concert, incidentally. A band, Fred, comprised of ex-pupils from the secondary school I attended once had a gig at our school, too, which was great, as is the signed pre-release album they had on sale that day. Oh yeah.

The next concert I'll hopefully be going to (I really need to get around to booking the ticket) will be Muse, who're playing in Dublin in November. They're one of my absolute favourite bands, so I'm damn excited about seeing them. A few of my friends love them too, and we'll be getting our hands on a camper van for the weekend. It's going to be fun. :p

Sounds awesome! :D Glad you had a great time.

I really hope that I'll be able to go to a RHCP concert sometime. They're one of my all-time favorite bands.

No concerts so far, but I would have done anything to go to Ozzfest, just to see System of a Down.

I've never been to a concert, but as my cousin just got a job which lets him get free tickets to shows at Nassau Colleseoum(sp), that should change soon.

And my comp isn't fixed, I'm on a laptop.

I'm a music FREAK, but I've only ever been to two concerts in my whole life, because I have such a taste in music that no one ever wants to come with me.
