What if Rare decided to re-release BK with all the stuff they had to take out? Do you think we'll ever see a redone version of the game with missing levels, and SNS? I know its only dreaming, but I wish Rare would report it to the DS, it would be perfect, and if they ported BT as well, we could finally do SNS with the DS's internal memory.
*ah*. to dream:)

There was already a reason why that stuff didn't happen (N64 damage if you don't know)

I think that IF they did make Banjo-Kazooie remakes on the Nintendo DS, the SNS stuff will be taken out.
It was never intended to be on the N64 version, so I don't think that it would be on a DS version...

Yeah they definitly would take SNS out but it would be cool to play a finished version of mt. fire eyes.

Hm?
No, Stop N' Swap wasn't intended to be on Banjo-Kazooie.
They just kept the Sandcastle Codes, which weren't meant to be leaked.
It was scrapped, but the items were left on accident.
So I doubt that they will ever use any type of Stop N' Swap of any kind, no matter if it wouldn't cause damage.

This was more along the lines of what I was thinking.

If their making a port, they might be lazy and keep it all in. Because its more work to take it out and it doesn't hurt.

Why does everyone assume that the banjo ds game (if there even is one) will be a port of banjo kazooie? How do you know it wont be banjo threeie? Or if banjo threeie comes out on the 360 how do you know it wont be a port of banjo threeie? Or an entireley new game?

it very well could be Banjo-Threeie, or an new game, i was just saying if it was a port, what would everybody want to see in it? I really think they could get a SNS type feature to work with the DS internal memory, they might have to loose some of the "swapping part", but there could be a way to figure it out...
and yeah, the lost levels I would like to see in.

Anybody noticed that the DS can wirlessly interact with each other?

That must be what that is...

That's just so they can put crappy two player minigames in their games.

If this theory is right, then they left Mumbo and his secret pics by accident too.

They could always construct it from the ground-up a la Super Mario 64 DS but...knowing Rareware that would take at least ten years.
Though in all honesty I don't think BK/BT will ever be remade, I'm not even certain if they'll see a sequel.

I'd much rather have a BK-BT remake like they did with Conker's Bad Fur Day on the 360 than a DS remake. Why? Because they can't improve on anything for a DS version since the N64 games were more powerful than current DS technology. Touch screen controls wouldn't fit well with the gameplay, 2 screens, 1 maybe could be used as a map, but not much else. All that's left to add is minigames, and beta material is very unlikely, unless we were to receive a directors cut edition.

I think a 360 version would be much more beleiveable. If the made a collection of classic rare games (bk, bt, cbfd, pd, goldeneye, blast corps) then you could just exit out of one game and into another when you get to a SnS point. plus, the 360 could power a lot more games.
by the way, i think the ds could power two n64 games 9in this case bk and bt) but it would be pushing it...
