I just got Conker's bad Fur Day, and I was wondering, what are you supposed to do after you knock the gargoyle of the bridge?

Go in the door he was blocking.

Go across the bridge and on the other side there should be a doorway that is blocked by some boulders. Find the "context sensitive" pad (the big pad with a 'B' on it) and press B. Conker will pull out some dynamite and blow up the boulders.

That's all you have to do :).

i get on the boulder and cant get onto the platfor.. its like theres an invisible wall at the edge..

Trying going around this so called invisble wall with the help of that tail floating jump whatever its called.

yeah, same problem here, the problem is i cant float long enough to get to the platform
