I'd want it to be Spiral Mountain because that's a pretty wide open area and also because you could go to Grunty's Lair and Jinjo Villiage for some levels. That would be my pick.

Either Grunties layer with some of the old areas and new areas (remodelling), or a completley new place. I must admit Isle of Hags wasn't the greatest area to play in....not one blue sky.

I'd love to see Grunty's Lair again, to see what it would look like on the 360, and to see changes in it. Like more doors that lead to more levels, and maybe... Mount Fire Eyes!!! They could do the level again and have it in B3! Although, I doubt they'd do that.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and Fungus Forest!

i would like to see grunty's lair again also. but, maybe rare can add on to the lair like with the two doors in the transformation room and have them lead to completely different parts of the lair. and maybe they could mix the levels from BK and BT, like having Mumbo's Mountain and Mayhem Mountain mixed into one giant level, and have the other levels coordinate (Grunty Industries and Bubble Gloop Swamp, HFP and Freezeasy Peeks [THEY BETTER ADD IN MT. FIRE EYES!! LOL]) and you get the idea.

Between those two choices, I'd love to see Grunty's Lair again. But seeing as this is most likely a new game, they'll probably have a brand new central hub not unlike Jinjo Village in BT.

I think that Spiral Mountain needs a turn of being the 'hub' area. It's where B-K and B-T start the first time you play. So SM can branch off to the Lair or the Village or wherever, but it just needs to be the starting point beyond the very beginning of the game. Besides, who doesn't like climbing (or flying or moonjumping up) to the top of Spiral Mountain to get a look around? Perhaps in B3 if you go to the top of the mountain, a 'map' appears showing where you can go, where you have to go to complete an objective, where you can't go... each level, in fact, should have a 'map point'. >.> But that is just my opinion...

I bet it would be something entirely new.
Like in BK, the hub was GL. When BT came, they didn't wanted to use GL again so they created an entirely new land to explore. When BK:GR came, they wanted something new again... so they used Spiral Mountain for a change.
So that's why I think it will be something entirely new.

My hope is that they at least do something with Grunty's Lair. Even if it doesn't act as the main overworld, at least give some of its dignity back. I loved Banjo-Tooie, but the lack of Grunty's Lair was a bit of a let down. It was one of the most profound, iconic, magical and mysterious settings in all of BK, and that was all stripped away in BT.
Some of that was present with the Isle O' Hags, though. But it seemed like a Banjo game without Grunty's Lair was like... well... a Banjo game without Banjo :p
