Ok, this isn't going to go anywhere, so I'll lock this. But before I do, let me tell you something...

Microsoft didn't take Rare. Nintendo put Rare up for sale. If I recall, the only two companies that could afford Rare (or thought they could) were MS and Activision. Activision had to pull out at the 11th hour when they found out they couldn't afford Rare.

So, to recap, Nintendo sold Rare off to Microsoft - Microsoft did not "take" Rare. It's really starting to piss me off that I have to keep explaining this almost two years later.

Oh I'm ticked as well, believe me. GBTG feels so wrong on XBox, and would've done way better on gamecube.

Hey, didn't Sony consider buying Rare? That would have been almost better... ;) Either way, if Rare were still with Nintendo, I wouldn't have my cool XBox/DVD combo. I might not agree with gaming consoles having all those extra features like DVD compatibility, but if it's going to happen, then why not? ;)
