Banjo-Kazooie Gold.. could it work?

I know this idea has prolly been gone over and re-hashed a million times, but I figured it would present my own views on it.


Rare is re-doing Conker at the moment, but Banjo has been left alone. Perhaps if they are intelligent enough to realize that a fanbase is still there for banjo, they could make...


Banjo Kazooie Gold

Features:

1. Both Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie with upgraded graphics.
2. Ability to play through Kazooie then Tooie, and then go back after tooie into a destroyed and wrecked lair to find stop N swop. (the idiot game paks would be replaced by something else so that they eggs would contain better stuff)
3. Bottles revenge mode and a network battle mode for the minigames


can anyone else think up some cool features that a banjo kazooie gold came could have?

I highly doubt they'd do it. Someone brought this question up in Scribes once (only it concerned Jet Force Gemini, if I recall), and they said they probably wouldn't do it, given the amount of flak they received over doing a Conker remake.

I could only see it happeneing as possibly a bonus disc type thing for BK3 without improved graphics like Nintendo did with Zelda Collection and OoT Master Quest but I still doubt they would do it. If they were still with Nintendo then something like that would have been more likely.

Yeah, or, they could do two disks, i guess that'd be the only way you can fit them on...

BUT...

Have the original environments from Banjo Kazooie & Tooie (all the levels) but with different tasks and note positions etc, and they could link them up, for instance, I see no reason why Hailfire Peaks and Freezezy Peak couldn;t be hooked up in some way..

and also, they could have a whole new game branching off Spiral Mountain, that being the game Banjo 3.

Yeah ! I think it will be good to fullfill our Stop'n'Swop dream :D
But I think that Banjo is not the priority of Rare those time , because of the Xbox public ? Don't know...
But the fact are here since 2001 we haven't heard of the sequel to Banjo Tooie on Hardware (Game cube , Xboxn,...)
That's bad , Banjo is being forgot by a lot of people !

I don't see how a dual screen will help in a remake of BK, hopfully they'll think'o something original. Maybe control Banjo and Kazooie at the same time when they split up... ohhh that sounds cool :D But then again, Banjo hasn't been in the best games since the tragety...

I would rather see Rare do an ultimate remake: remake the game Banjo-Kazoo: with sixteen levels, a SnS feature, and a giant as the boss. Hell, it could be farther back than that, where a human and a parrot fight a boss.

yes, seeing a complete Mount Fire eyes and Banjo=Kazooies version of Fungus Forest would be kick ass! as for Hammerhead beach, meh, dont care for it, just make Click Clock Wood bigger, more tree to climb up, some other cool things, YAY!!! and more Freezezy Peak. that level was cool also

Exactly,I mean in a sense it is.Froms the fans point of veiw it kinda is because of their relashionship with Nintendo,but everything changes and really it was Nintendo's fault(Oh how I hated to say that)they sold them.But hey,Rare moved for the better of their creativity,remember no matter how much it kills us(even though the time it has taken them to come out with another game has forced some of us to die of natural causes)the longer it takes to make a game,the better it will be.And though I hate to admit it,the Xbox is the most powerful machine,want proof?It's in the Guiness(?) Book of World Records.And Rare is the only people who have pushed it to it's limits ,Up till now It was hard to tell between the three,except PS2 versions(heck even some exsclusive PS2 games)seem to have the less in the graphics,more in the loading,and worse framerate.Now don't hit me with bricks for that,there are beautiful and fun games for all the systems but....take Sonic Heroes for example,I got this game for the GameCube and it is one of the best looking games I have,but on the PS2 it's wierd(I havent seen the Xbox verion of it so I can't compare it),where there should be liquidy type effects in the city theres not its just whats under it.And the framerate it awful,almost SA1 or even Saturn quality mabey less.But I don't hate the PS2 I was just illustrating my point(Actually I kinda got carried away on that) on now if you look at Rares games,DAMN!It's crazy,its such a treat to the eyes....actually sorry about this rant on graphics but they are part of the game,and though they don't matter IMO It is nice to have good ones,thats what I love about Rare,they mix great gameplay,with really great graphics,with even better music.But still after about ten more months the rest of you that still are mad you'll get over it and find out that....it's ok.Rare didn't betray us,Microsoft didn't spite us,and Nintendo didn't betray us.It was all business,now stop whining and get over it,you can't change it and probably never will so even if it takes you another ten years get an Xbox and enjoy their games,I'm lookin' for a saturn and Both NiGHTS games,and all I need now is the money.....so if anyone has a Saturn and NiGHTS into Dreams and Christmas NiGHTS lyin' around and don't care about money could ya send it to me?ANYWAY...Get over it haters,it's not that bad,like I said in one sense it's a tragedy but in the real world it's not so bad.And if you got a Cube for Rare games don't get rid of it and don't be mad about it,that system has quite a few better games and they are mostly exclusive.
