I found this video on some P2P program ( :p ) and I couldn't tell if it was real or fake. I mean I hate to come out with something you've all probably seen before, but a couple people haven't seen it, and so havn't I, so... Whatever.

It looks real first time around, but sadly I have to conclude it's fake. It looks like it's from a webcam, which would pretty much nullify its validity.

Would've been cool if real though. Plus, the alarm was objective a most likely still even in beta version, which is in the tower itself there. My conclusion is that they put on walk through walls and set a mine. Getting the objective test to display is harder, but do-able.

After posting my first message, I seen the video's properties said it was made in 1995, and I dunno how you could edit the year in the properties. So after hearing you're conclusion, I'm half and half. O.o

I think you can do it by setting back your system clock, then saving the video. I think.

Aww you're right... I just tried it with a picture. Unless objective A was destroy drone gun (or the alarm was on the drone gun) it's fake. :(

Yeah, but that's not beta footage, it's retail version used to show beta details.

There's more videos like this, but there's no sources for download. If you want, set search on videos and do an unlimited (time) search on 'goldeneye' until they come up. (Is it weird that I find these interesting?)

That's a really cool fake. Though, if he wanted to be *really* cool he could have put in some of the beta positions...

I'd say at that was about three mines on top of the thing, probably taken with one of the walkthrough codes on. Bet you he walked from a tower, angled down a bit, then popped his remotes. The instant objective complete code at work. Very cool.

Kinda silly really. I'd personally set the guards out there and make a point of setting mines inside the drone cannon or creating a canister to get the right effect. It would be really cool if a few guards took a dive from there.

-also, there is a code to put the alarm on the dam, but it's in the tower.
