THQ is only publishing Rare's GBA games and sorry, but Microsoft bought the rights to Banjo-Kazooie from Nintendo and it won't be on a GameCube.

Unless some miracle happens, which I dont think it will, damn you Microsoft!

DAMN IT! Nintendo never should have let go of those rights, let alone Rare!

WAKE UP, NINTENDO! What in the world is wrong with you! I love Mario and Link and Samus as much as the next NIntendo owner, but Rare's platformers had something you don't.... I don't know what it is, but it's there.

YOU LOST IT! WHAT IN THE WORLD!

Rare would have sucked on the GameCube (Read: GameCube) anyway. Okay sure, Ghoulies would have been alright -- but we wouldn't have Conker: Live and Reloaded, which means SFA and Ghoulies would have been Rare's only Cube titles.

So you'd either have to get an XBox 2, or the "Nintendo Revolution". Either way, Nintendo didn't see Rare as being very profitable, and they were probably right.

Anyway, Nintendo's been kicking arse lately, without Rare's help (or lack thereof). Take Reggie for example -- he's totally about taking names ;)

Nintendo should have at least tried to get or keep Banjo -Kazooie....

With BK as one of their flagship mascots, Rare probably wouldn't have let go of the rights that easily. Not to meantion, why would they want to keep the rights to one franchise but not the founding company? That would be redundant. :rolleyes:

Edit: Wow, this is the most active the board's been in awhile. 3 posts by different people in 7 minutes. Which is basically nothing compared to the old days, but still 3! 3 posts!

I seriously hope somehow Rare gets Banjo Threeie on Gamecube. I know it will be on X-Box, but Remember Sonic Heroes? It was origianlly going to on the gamecube. And look what happened, it ended up being on all the sytems. Myabe Rare will do the same. Not getting my hopes up but it's possible.

Sega = 3rd-party developer.

Rare = 1st-party developer, for MS.

Not a chance of a multiplatform Banjo.

Conker wasn't rares fault really... that was nintendos for never liking what they showed them... then they showed them conkers bad fur day as a joke... and they ended up liking it instead
