tell me: what's the longest you've gone without sleep? and what are your normal sleeping habits? Do you spend an hour or two trying to doze off or do you take a shot of nyquil and fall on the pillow?

and are there any crazy thoughts you've thought of late at night?

Well, as of late (har!), I've been getting to bed around 10-12 pm. It's 10:55 right now. I'll probably probe this place for activity for the time being. Usually when I want to sleep, I do. I don't have problems. And the longest I've stayed up was till about 4 am. I'm not much of a night crawler.

The latest I've been up is 4am as well. Normally I get to sleep between 10-11:30pm and wake up between 6-6:30am. I try to get the most hours out of my day.

The longest i've gone without sleep is no sleep at all.

During the holidays I normally sleep in until pm and stay up till 5am or whatever depending on what i'm doing.

During the school year it's 8am-12pm for moi.

I'm not a big insomniac. Right now, during the summer, I wake up normally at 1 or 2 o'clock and fall asleep around 2 or 3.

During school I wake up at 5 and go to sleep at around 10 or 11ish.

Gonna be a big transition when school starts back up.

Throughout my life, I've only really pulled 3 all-nighters. The first two were intentional... the third was due to a recent cold.

Usually I go to bed at 1:00 AM, then finally fall asleep around 4:00 AM. It's annoying.

The latest I ever got to sleep was about 6:30 in the morning. I was at a sleepover (I don't think guys do sleepovers do they!) and we did a "let's all stay up as long as we can" thingy.

Lately I haven't been sleeping well at all. I don't know why, I can't seem to get off untill about 3 or 4 in the morning and I've been dreaming LOADS (really wierd dreams...) I also wake up sweating badly. Then I wake up at midday.

School term sleeping times = Sent to be 10.30 PM (sucks, don't it?) woken up 6.45 (sucks more). I am not a morning person at all. I'm definately more awake at night.

6:45 for school wake up? Try 5:30 am. Now that's harsh. (Well, officially its more like 6:30 cause I usually fall back to sleep after my alarm wakes me up...)

As for right now, I'm going to bed at 12:00 (on non worknights) and getting up at 10:00. I just can't sleep till noon like I used to. Work days...well those vary.

I have insomnia. Ive been staying up until 4 AM almost every day of summer. The latest I have stayed up is actually, never going to sleep. Just from noon to noon I guess. Its really not that hard for me.

That is hard to beleive. I heard a man stayed up for a week and went insane. Serious insane, I mean, like Eternal Darkness insane. And what is it with this topic and 4 AM? Look back at it, and you'll know what I mean.

Yeah, 8 days. Someone at the old forums (by the name of Night_owl) posted this very topic and someone replied saying they had been up for 7 days straight... and so Grey being up second longest (and wanting to beat this record) went for 24 hours longer than that, hence 8 days.... I drop dead after about 20 hours... 176 would make my head explode.

8 days without sleep?! My legs would have snapped like twigs and my head blown up. The latest I've been up is 4AM, maybe 5, though I normally conk out anywhere from midnight to 2 AM. On school nights 11 PM's the limit. I went to an all nighter games night with a friend at his church one time. At first I was going to stay up until 7 AM with everyone else, but around 3 I couldn't take it anymore and fell asleep half an hour later. It worked, and half an hour later I was out. No more all nighters for me. I have really wierd dreams, too. When I was 4 or 5 I dreamed I was being chased by a rabid duck. Then just before I woke up on my tenth or eleventh birthday I dreamed Goku was a zombie. Either this year or last I dreamed that I was searching for my dog, and when I found her she turned into Birdo!

I usually go to bed at about 11 but I don't fall asleep till about 2 AM.
