Found these in a book somewhere belive it or not the brainteasers below are number puzzles but the numbers have been replaced by letters. The sane letters stand for the same Digits within each puzzle, but not in diffrent puzzles. Can you work out what the digits should be in each case?

1.
O+NO=ON

2.
SSS+SS+S+S+S=BAAA

3.
A+F+B=I

IxI= HA
AFB/HA=B

I shall pos the answers soon :D

1. O = 9, N = 8
2. S = 8, B = 1, A = 0

Oh I didn't know we were allowed to post.
I'm good at maths
1.
O+NO=ON
O=9 N=8
9 + 89 = 98

2.
SSS+SS+S+S+S=BAAA
S=8 B=1 A=0
888 + 88 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 1000
(The old 8 8's make 1000 puzzle)

3.
A+F+B=I
IxI= HA
AFB/HA=B
A=1
F=6
B=2
I=9
H=8
1 + 6 + 2 = 9
9 x 9 = 81
162 / 81 = 2

O.O uhh yeah thats right

I didnt expect everyone to get the answers so fast

So ill put up another teasrer a more harder one :D

1. A number of energetic monsters set out on an expedition to climb a mountain. There are two monsters in front of a monster, two mosnters behind a monster and a monster in the middle. How many monsters were on this expedition?

2.A man collected 33 apples from the trees in his garden, and carried them in four bags round to his friend. Each bag contained an odd number of apples. How did he do this?

3. A copy of "Better homes than Gardens" and "The daily News" cost 11 doubloons. The book cost 10 doubloons more than the newspaper. What was the price of each?

I just got number 3, same as Arti's. I only did it by some sloppy trial and error, though, which is slightly annoying.

1. 3
2. He put 1 in the first bag, then put that inside the second bag along with 2 apples. He put the second bag inside the third bag along with 2 apples. Then he put the third bag inside the fourth bag along with the remaining 28 apples.
3. 0.5 doubloons and 10.5 doubloons. You're not catching me out with that one, my friend.

Eh?

1. 5
2. 11 in 3 bags nothing in the other. But you can't though, cause 0 is even.
33 is odd, 1st bag, 33-odd = even, 2nd bag, even - odd = odd, 3rd bag, odd - odd = even, leaving the 4th bag with an even number. But if there is an answer it's lateral thinking and not maths.
3. Ten and a half dubloons and half a dubloon respectivly

2. He put 11 in each bag and then put all three bags inside another bag 33 is an odd number ;) I think :P

3. 10.5 doubloons for the book and 0.5 doubloons for the newspaper.

well there is a few more ive got but i better get to sleep so until tomorow... :D

1. I got wrong cause I thought it was like this
Front : - : Back
The guy in the middle has two in front and behind him.

for number one you multiply the first number by each not altogether for example 15873 by 7, 15873 by 14 yeah sorry about that... forgot to put the littl A) B) things there

Those are hardly questions, just random repeating numbers.
