Hi
Can I create an own level in Banjo Kazooie?

no. the sheer amount of coding that would take would be far beyond those without experience. the closest thing I could think of is making a 3-D level in a 3-D art program, then somehow import it into flash and make a flash 3-D game out of it.

There might be a way to make your own shootout in Banjo-Tooie by just modifying one... (with tons of coding, of course). I can't see a level being made, though (unless you just reposition things and have no "special" events (aka character chat, stuff like Conga, making jiggies appear, JuJu, Clanker, and all that).

character chat might not be too hard, just change the locations and images of the existing characters for that level, and edit the text when it comes on. However, you wouldnt be able to change the audio for the voices...
and it would take a lot of editing, I doubt the game would stand up to that sort of stuff without crashing...

I doubt even the rom image of BK could support much more memory, which is required to make new levels (assuming you aren't deleting old ones), but that solely depends on the emulator's strength that's running it. I will say that programming a new level, or even modifying an old one, isn't impossible, but it would take extensive work in Hex editing (or C++ assembly, depending on whether or not you are creating a level from scratch) as well as art design to do such a thing.

As others have said, you could just modify an old level, but that would still take hex editing skills. You'd also probably need Ice and Sub's notes on BK locations and various things of that nature to even know where to make adjustments. So sorry to crush your dreams, but making a new level in BK, even with existing data, would not be an easy thing to accomplish.

no u definatly couldnt create a new one from scratch, you'd have to change an existing one or there wouldnt BE enough RAM. That said, look what Ice and Sub did in some of the videos, they seem to ba able to come very close to making up levels
did u see the flooded mumbos mountain? how in hell do u do that?

Wouldn't you require an N64 Dev. kit aswell?

you can certainly adjust the levels such as backgrounds in other locations as seen with mumbo's mountain in water
