Pokemon Black 2 and White 2
Yep, That's right, this so hot off the press that they're making a sequel to Pokemon Black/White, not a third version of Grey.
It's due out in June in Japan and will be on the DS, not the 3DS. Temp source; http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wik...medium=twitter (I'll post an article in the morning when they're updated) So yeah, that was interesting that they're going for the direct sequel angle, I'm intrigued how they're going to do it, will it still be set in Unova? How will it link up to the previous game? |
DIDN'T EXPECT THIS.
THIS IS COOL. I'M ALRIGHT WITH THIS. |
So Gen V is going to have a 'Persona 2: Eternal Punishment' like sequel. I'm cool that.
|
Ok, it's been confirmed as a DS game, not 3DS, gonna edit the OP.

Black Sapphire and White Ruby featuring both the Unova and Hoenn regions.

The US Pokemon site just put up a page for it, which means we're probably getting it soon, too... Coming in June in Japan, so... probably holiday release for the US?
It sounds like it really is a direct sequel and not just the equivalent to Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum with a slightly modified plot... I certainly hope so. EDIT: Oh, yeah, new forms for Kyurem, too... Wonder why they're taking forms of Reshiram and Zekrom... |
This is cool. I'll get to use my DSi XL more.

I'm not sure how to react to this. On one hand I am mad that I don't have a remake of ruby or Sapphire at the moment and that instead we will be returning to the most poorly designed region of all time.
On the other hand I'm glad it's not a system that has no games worth buying. |
This is cool. Kind of wanted RS remakes more, but hey, Unova is alright I guess.
|
Totally not expecting this. FINALLY Game Freak does something different. I'm Ok with this.
