EPILOGUE - THE RISING SUN

Everyone had gathered around in front of the already-being reconstructed RWP. It early in the morning, the sun barely coming up.

Grey: Right then, so...The battle is won, the day is saved! I mean, even of the paradoxed members are coming to their senses.

Neo: Grey...Kaytee...he's gone...

Bobby was sobbing.

Bobby:W-We couldn't save him!

Gobes: We weren't good enough!

Grey eyed them funny and shruged.

Grey: Uh,guys...Kaytee's right here.

Below and behold, KT walked right up to the group. Alive and well. But, this was a different Kaytee. This was the normal, everyday KT that everyone had known.

Kaytee: What's going on with them...?

Grey: Ah,it's nothing...Why don't you go help Jinjonator,Starfox, and Darkjinjo with building the structures?

Gobes; DARKJINJO?! B-B-BUT!

Grey only chuckled and shook his head.

Grey: It seems not everyone has recovered from their paradoxed forms yet. It's only a matter of minutes. Perhaps it would be time to say your goodbyes?

Neo: Oh yeah! Sure...

~SOUNDTRACK: GOODBYE FOREVER (From Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - "Everything Begins")~

Neo Approached Bobby and Gobes.

Neo: Well guys, it's been a long and tough journey..

He noticed just exactly how beat up everyone in his squad looked. Even with all the bruises,dirt,and cuts on them, Gobes and Bobby still smiled just like how they did at the very beginning of their epic quest.

Gobes: It seems that way...

Bobby: Well,what do you wanna do when we get home?

Gobes: I dunno...It kinda sucks that we're not gonna remember any of this!!

Bobby: Yeah...

Gobes: Well, I'm gonna take a nap! All of this has gotten me worn out!

Neo coughed loudly on purpose.

Neo: AHEM! BYE GUYS!

Gobes: Oh! Um..Seeya Neo. I had fun. I really did. It was the adventure of a lifetime for me, and I really hate to sound cliche, but even if I forget about all of the wonderful...and not so wonderful times we had, I know you guys will remain in my heart.

Bobby: D'awwwwww...Well, pretty much everything Gobes said sums me up. I'll admit, I've had enough action for one day...Maybe it's time to go get some rest..

Neo: Heh..well, you do just that. Farewell,Bobby and Gobes.

Gobes: Adios!

Bobby waved.

Bobby: BYEEEEE!!




Next, he went to visit Gogeta.

Gogeta: Ah,my dear comerade,Neo! I...hear there's not much time for me left in this world..

Neo: Unfortunatly...

Gogeta: No,no. I understand. My battle is won. Justice has reigned supreme, and my mission is complete! I can finally go home again...

Neo patted Gogeta on the back.

Neo: Heh, I'll miss you!

Gogeta: You too. Farewell,my friend.

He bowed.

Gogeta: It has been an honor to fight alongside you.




Finally, he found Rem, standing by herself.

Rem: Oh,hello Neo.

Neo: Could you come with me? I want to gather everyone for one last farewell.

Rem: Oh,alright then...

She followed.

Neo now stood in front of Gogeta,Gobes,Bobby,and Rem. Silver, on crutches still, came up besides Neo.

Neo: I want to tell you all,farewell...and good luck in your future endeavors. Don't let nothing stop you. Look what happened here with us. People from so many different worlds and places came together. We all banded against a bigger force that threatened our world. For the time being, we were brothers and sisters. We were family. And now, it's time for us to go our seperate ways, like fate demands.

Rem smiled.

Rem: Thank you. You all have been wonderful people to work alongside.

Gobes: C'MON! GROUP HUGGGGGGGGGGG!!!

Neo: Whoa?! What! A-AAAAAAAHHH! YOU GUYS!

Everybody squeezed in on Neo, and made one big group hug pile. As they did this though, Gobes began to feel faint, as did Bobby and Gogeta.

They fell down to the ground, and woke up as normal King Gobi, Standard SSJ3 Gogeta, and plain BobbyTheCat.

Gobi: Huh? Where am I...Eh...and why am I so dirty?

Bobby: Why do I feel like I ran a marathon?! AAAGGHHH...

He collapsed onto the floor and started sleeping.

Rem looked into Neo and Silver's eyes wistfully.

Rem: This is it,huh? Well, it was nice...For the first time in a very,very long time...I feel an emotion I was sure I thought I forgot...Joy...Trust...It's so pleasing...

A tear ran down her cheek.

Rem: "Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow..."

She smiled, her body fading away into her own world from which she came.

Rem: Farewell...

Finally,it was only Neo and Silver.

Silver: Well, i'm sorry I couldn't join you in the big finale...really, I..

Neo put his hand on his shoulder.

Neo: Don't worry about it,man.

Silver sat down onto the ground, Neo doing the same. They looked at the rising sun.

Neo Noticed Silver's body was starting to vanish.

Silver: You all got your happy ending. RWP being remade even as we speak...the rip between worlds sealed away...the bad guys are defeated and the day is saved...I'm pretty proud of all you guys. Heh.

Neo: Hah, it was nothing. All in a day's work,right?

Silver: Yeah...Look! The sun...it's rising again...

Neo: Yeah, it's beautiful.

Silver's body was just about completely gone by now. He uttered one last sentence before closing his eyes,knowing his time was up.

Silver: This is good...isn't it?

And with that, he was gone. Neo looked up, the sun rising for another day. Another day to rebuild,redeem, and recreate. Remembering the past, focusing on the present, and building for the future, the RWP was going to be bigger and stronger than before. Mandy promised that she would cease any kinds of experiments dealing with other worlds, and that any ideas on that be scrapped forever.

But for Neo, and most of the people of the other worlds, it was just the end of another adventure. The next just waiting around the corner. Neo rose from the ground and,even though in immense pain, blood stained onto his clothes, hair frazzled and dirty from the journey, skin dirty, and was generally in need of a shower, Neo smiled broadly anyway as he looked at the warm orange sphere.

Neo: Perfect...This is perfect.

I was thinking about putting in a sly little teaser for my next story,but I decided against it. Too soon. The plot isn't developed enough yet..
