Because that thread is getting ridiculously off topic and that needs to end more than the argument does.
I'll post a retaliation to Mandolin here later since apparently I'm hypocritical, but I want to get this thread out first.

A PM is between two people. There were many talking about it in that thread and it didn't seem like it was lightening up at all.
Apparently "bashing the Wii" and "praising the 360/PS3" are the same thing. Never once did I bash the Wii in that post.

360 is superior to the ps3 in hardware, library, and price tag. There is nothing to even debate there unless you are the hardcorest of fanboys. The wii is better or worse entirely depending on your playstyle, they're not even aimed at the same damn market. The ps3 is only worth it if you are into it's exclusives. Which certainly has it's merits of course. At the end of the day it always comes down to just preference, there is no point in arguing it.

I doubt the claim that it(the 360, vs. the PS3)'s superior in hardware. also, I don't understand how you can say 'it's not debatable that the 360 is superior to the ps3 in essentially every aspect' then go on to say '... it just comes down to preference...'
