Obama vs. Romney

I turned 18 just a few months before our last presidential election. Voting for Obama felt like one of the most awesome and patriotic things I've ever done. I'll gladly do it again this year.

I have no idea. My sister is 25 and still isn't gone yet.

And to be honest, I'd rather move out with someone than out alone, which is why I wanted to move out with my sister because all of my close high school friends are gone and she's the only other person I'd feel comfortable moving out with. She wants to move out with one of her friends though over me, so my chances are slim. I might move into my college's dorms when they're finished if I'm financially able (which is another issue altogether: I don't make enough to move out alone).

In the first months of the campaign, Romney looked like a sensible moderate, or at least a Republican willing to look past party lines to achieve compromise. Not to say I would have voted for him, but at one point I thought I would be at ease with Romney in the White House. But now, it seems like he's just pandering to Tea Partiers and ultra-conservatives; flip-flopping on too many issues...

Hmm, well needless to say I have some very liberal positions, especially when it comes to social policies, so I will be voting for Obama again.
