It looks pretty, pretty, good but will it have Banjo in it?

In addition to Vyse from Skies of Arcadia and Gillius from Golden Axe being revealed this morning, TSSZ has learned from this source that Ristar and Vectorman are also playable characters.

ASR Transformed will cater to the XBOX 360 audience above all else, the source said. Several exclusives, including content and a possible console bundle, are being planned by Microsoft.

I feel it's officially justified to buy both an Xbox and PS3 version of this game.

EDIT: I hope we get a little more in the weapon department, that was probably the weakest part of the first game.

The weapons were fine, they didn't make it a luck fest like Mario Kart, it was the main reason S&SASRwBK was better than Mario Kart (y'know, other than the fact that it had Banjo in it.)

What I meant was that they were kind of boring, like the explosive cones. Everything was just generic looking or Sonic-themed. I'd like if something like the bowling bombs were replaced with something like eggs from Billy Hatcher or something, stuff like that.

Also, the pocket rainbow didn't really do anything, I wouldn't mind seeing that changed or replaced.

Oh, I see what you mean. I actually kind of like that they were generic items and not series based. Don't know why I do though.

Sweet, I loved the game play of the last one, hopefully it keeps that..competitive feel.

The new announced/leaked characters drive me crazy and make me want the game a billion times more and the favoritism towards the 360 makes me believe Banjo is a shoe-in for another round [perhaps even more Rare goodness, might as well have all those hibernating IPs tossed into a quality kart racer, especially when they go so well with all that SEGA].

EDIT: NiGHTS would be perfect for a flying-centric track, IMO.

The first game is a thousand times better than Mario Kart. In fact, the only racing games better than it are Diddy Kong Racing and Banjo-Pilot.
