If you're only going to go with one horror category I feel like straight up "horror" would be the best label.

I'm also not sure why you have both 'Adventure' and 'Point and Click' on the list as Adventure can encompass point and click, classic text adventure, visual novels, etc.

I think I want to keep it a little on the basic side, so I'll do this then.

Yeah, visual novels are a genre on it's own. Also, I don't think games like 'Pro Skater''d fall under the racing genre.

haha, I'd really not categorize Sandbox BMX/Skateboarding games as either Sport, Racing or Sandbox, because you're not really doing any of those.

Sandbox is a subgenre only, Believe I already said that earlier. You can't have a 'sandbox' game, you can only have 'sandbox life-simulators', 'sandbox constructathons', etc.

Ooooooh, now I get it. But even if it is strictly a subgenre, I could still make a sandbox section with all the 'sandbox life-simulators', 'sandbox constructathons', etc, couldn't I?

Don't say things like 'horror' because a game genre is about mechanics and not emotions.

Hack and slash? I know it's pointing and clicking but Torchlight isn't a thinking game unlike Monkey Island. I'd call the watering down of a clicking game so you just play through in a zombie-like state part of the mechanics.
