Conker Appearing in Microsoft's Project Spark
Conker, the lovable and offensive squirrel first featured in Conker's Pocket Tables for the Game Boy Color, will appear in Microsoft's game creator Project Spark. The announcement was made during Microsoft's annual E3 press conference. Project Spark, which has been in beta for the Xbox One and PC, will launch holiday 2014 for the 360, One, and Windows.
This is the first appearance for the character since Conker: Live and Reloaded was released in 2005. In the trailer shown at E3, Conker implores the player to use him in the game, since he hasn't had one of his own in a decade.

This can be seen in a number of ways. The first and most obvious way, the way everyone is taking it, "Rare says if you want a new Conker, make it yourself!" but another way to look at it is Rare truly acknowledging their older IPs. Not only with this Project Spark blessing but with the Kinect Sports attire that was related to their old IPs. They have not forgotten and there is hope for next year. What if this is just buying them some time to work on a new Conker or Banjo-Kazooie?
Sure, Rare didn't announce the new BK game we all wanted... or a new game at all, but regardless I have more faith in Rare now than I have in many years. They are straight up putting Conker in something and I am down with that.

Well, Banjo appeared in Diddy Kong Racing before he got his own game. Maybe Conker is following the trend.

I mean, it's annoying in that this is the only Rare announcement of E3, but I encourage you guys to actually use Project Spark. It's pretty awesome. There's a ton of possibilities here.
