Rare recently revealed one of the videos from Rare Replay, this one showing unseen footage of Project Dream and early Banjo.

That was wonderful to see. Seeing more of ..'mount fire eyes' or the test level would be sweet, I wonder if they have a ROM of the early beta in that stage of its life.

Man the SNES version of Dream looked amazing. Wish we could have gotten that in addition to BK.

That was absolutely fascinating. I really liked the look of SNES Dream, though the dog seemed out of place. It was strangely unsettling to see unfamiliar animations on Banjo, though.

Oh wow, I've wondered for years if it was possible to see footage of these super early ideas. I think if Dream was finished in that SNES style it would have been a sick game. One thing's for sure though, with all the changes and iterations and *******, I'm so glad this game wasn't cancelled. Gaming back in the day would have been so much different without Banjo-Kazooie.
