Need some reccomendations
I may possibly get one of these for free.. What should I get?

I am mainly going to use it for online forums, gaming, and general computer stuff away from my desktop..

I just switched to mac in August and got a 24" iMac and a 15" MAcbook.

no regrets. Pure awesome.

My HP Laptop is 11 years old and still works excellently. Originally came with Windows 98, and it runs XP fairly well, too.

Anything that isn't mac. I haven't heard much about Dells, but I know a number of people who have HPs and like them, so I'd go with that.
