Apartments are incredibly expensive atm in my country, like you could spend half of your life paying for a small one, it's depressing. Houses aren't common, and would cost 10 times more lol. Renting is hella expensive too. (here's hoping this expensive housing situation changes for the good soon) So I'm kind of jealous of you, your own place, man that's great

Anyway it's not like I could move even if apartments where cheap as studies deprive me of time to work and earn money. The irony of me studying architecture is a plus =/

I moved out from home a month or two back. I came to the US and I'm staying in some moderately good accomodation at a conference center in Davison, Michigan that I'm volunteering at.

Michigan is such a cold state. I came from the colds of England, expecting a pleasant change, to the colds of Michigan.

Michigan sucks, coming from another country, you had every state to pick from in the US, and you picked Michigan ? Bad Economy, horrible weather, shitty drivers.

Michigan is the worst state in the US, hands down, I can't wait to move out of here, if only Michigan didn't hold sentimental value to me, I'd of already left.
