Also, there's a metallic square near Mumbo's hut that clearly does something but I don't know how to get it going (battery eggs do nothing).

I have eight jiggies total in Bad Magic Bayou; can anyone help me find the others?

You have to backtrack to that door after you get the tank. As for the Jiggy, just follow the path that goes to the right of the door to Mumbo's Pad.

Cool, thanks. I still can't get the jiggy, though. I can get the empty honeycomb piece, but the jiggy still eludes me.

Did you try the flap flip? (In other words, did you learn the flap flip ) I don't remember exactly how to get it, I'll have to turn on my DS for this.
