Nuts and Bolts Disc Problems?

A few years ago, just a few months after it was released, I got my first copy of Nuts and Bolts. I say "first", because only a couple of months after owning it, it started to randomly freeze up a lot. So I had to buy a second copy of Nuts and Bolts. Now a few years have passed, and I'm experiencing the SAME problem again. And the sad part is I haven't even played it that much over the years. So tomorrow I'm going to head over to Gamestop to buy my third copy of Nuts and Bolts.

My question is: Has anyone else had this same problem with their Nuts and Bolts disc? Because if so, then perhaps there is some problem with how they made the N&B discs.

(And to clarify, no the problem is not my Xbox. Other games work fine. And the disc is not scratched.)

I haven't played my copy in quite some time because the game locks up before I can even load a save or anything.

I guess I should post this here: I did end up getting another copy of NaB at Gamestop. It was used, but it also came with a used copy of Viva Pinata! Which is great, because I was planning on getting that game soon anyway. The whole bundle only cost $15.

Anyway, I just completed Nuts and Bolts today ("completed", as in almost-100%ed it). T'was great to go back to old challenges with better car parts and easier ways of going about doing some of them.

Ooh, good luck with that. My copy of Viva Pinata occasionally has that same disc freezing problem (disk looks fine, other games work, the whole deal) that you were describing with N&B. Hopefully your copy works.

And a friend of mine told me yesterday he is experiencing the same problem I was with his N&B disc. I swear, there's gotta be something wrong with the way that they made the N&B discs, AND possibly with the Viva Pinata discs too, because of what you just told me.
