SEGA New Console Rumors

Just wondering if anyone has followed the Rumors about Sega possibly releasing a new console? I do in fact think it would be cool to get a new sega console even though it's been so long since they had one I think i'd Jump to buy it if it existed. If you haven't followed along these rumors started in 09-10 time and went away and just kind of resurfaced this year with the fact Sega is cutting so many games due to financial Issues.

Haven't heard any rumors about SEGA releasing another console but it's probably unlikely seeing as the big three (Nintendo,Microsoft, and Sony) are dominating the game industry but i have heard that Valve is releasing a game console and i'm quite interested in that and the only thing I'm excited for Sega is that there releasing Sonic Adventure 2 for XBLA and PSN this October.

It'll be attractive if it doesn't try and centralise everything like the Xbox tries to, i.e. downloading films. Who downloads films to Xbox?

If it is a nice just all around back to basic gaming system thats all id ask for and i would be happy.

Also yeah i heard about the Valve console too

I'd buy it, but, as you said yourself, Sega isn't doing well, so it's doubtful they have something like a new console in the pipeline. Where have the latest rumors been posted?

9/9/99 is next month, and I'll be wearing my Dreamcast shirt.
