But this time it's Banjo-Kazooie, a true Banjo-Kazooie! We just need to wait until E3 2017, and then the end of 2018 for the release of the game.
I already can imagine it: eight huge interconnected worlds full of collectables, each one with its own boss and trasformation. Plus a tutorial area and a full of secrets hub. It will be a platform at its finest, with the obvious return of the original character design.

I don't think Grant is working for Nintendo, he never did before (directly).
He said that he can't tell if the secret game he's composing for is a new IP, so I think it is most probably a game of a series.
Summarizing:
- Rare is probably working on a second game;
- Grant Kirkhope is composing for a secret game and he's excited for it;
- Phil Spencer didn't deny a new BK, he only said that Rare is busy now;
- BK turns 20 in 2018.
I'm optimistic for a new Banjo-Kazooie. Grant said that the mysterious game won't be revealed at the next E3, so we will have to wait until E3 2017 if the game is a Banjo (usually Rare announces new games only at E3).
It wil be a loooooooooong year... damn NDAs.

One user says that Rare is developing a new BK, it's a platform and it's called Banjo-Kazooie 3. It is set after Nuts & Bolts and mantains pretty much the same character design. Grant Kirkhope is composing part of the OST and the game will be revealed at the next E3.
I think it's fake, the plot of the game and other things sound too silly and it's unprobable an announment at this E3. Moreover, fake leaks about BK regularly show up on 4chan.
